How SASHA works

A simple rhythm for your study day.

Start with one task—a chapter to read, a topic to practice, or an assignment to prepare. Use SASHA’s core study tools to move through it.

  1. Plan your work

Choose a study goal, decide what to work on next, and make room for it in your schedule.

  2. Organize your materials

Keep the notes and documents for that task together, ready for your study session.

  3. Make time to focus

Start a focused study session and work through the task using your materials.

  4. Review your progress

Look back at your goals and completed sessions, then decide what needs another try.

Tools vary by role, permissions, connectivity, and release. Reviewing goals and completed sessions is not an automated assessment of learning or a guarantee of results.

Why SASHA exists

Learning support should feel connected.

SASHA began with a family’s experience of fragmented support. That story still shapes the work: make the next step clearer for the learner and the people helping them.

Start with our story
01 The Origin

Built Because the System Failed Someone.

Tonderai watched his sister struggle through a system that was never designed for her. She had an IEP. She had dedicated teachers. She had a family that showed up to every meeting, asked every question, fought every battle.

It still was not enough. The tools were fragmented. The data lived in silos. Progress reports arrived weeks late, written in language no parent could decode. The system did not fail from malice. It failed from architecture.

SASHA was not born from a business plan. It was born from watching someone he loved fall through cracks that should not exist. Every feature, every data model, every interface decision traces back to a single question: what would have changed her outcome?

“I built SASHA because my sister deserved better than a system held together by binder clips and good intentions.”
Tonderai Shekede, Founder
Definition

Individualized Education Program (IEP)

A written program developed under IDEA for an eligible learner. It records current performance, measurable goals, services, supports, participation, and how progress will be measured. SASHA may support an authorized workflow; it is not the school's authoritative IEP record or legal decision maker.

02 The Problem

The system is held together by binder clips
and good intentions.

A learner's week can be scattered across assignment portals, documents, calendars, messages, paper plans, and conversations. The useful context exists, but the next action is often difficult to see and responsibility is easy to lose.

SASHA is designed to make that context calmer, permission-aware, and easier to review—without pretending software replaces the learner's support team.

The Reality

NCES reported 7.5 million US learners ages 3–21 receiving IDEA services in 2022–23. Their needs and settings are varied; one workflow cannot assume they are all the same.

The Opportunity

Build one understandable daily loop around tasks, materials, schedules, focused work, and approved support relationships—then test it with the people who will actually use it.

03 Core Capability Engines

The Solution: Five Reviewable Capabilities.

SASHA combines structured learning workflows with optional model-assisted features. The product is designed to keep evidence, human review, account eligibility, and role-based access visible rather than treating automation as unquestionable truth.

01

Reviewable Document Intake

Teachers don't have time for data entry.

When enabled for an authorized account, document tools can help extract and organize material from a syllabus, rubric, or approved school document. Important facts remain subject to human review; automated extraction is never described as perfectly accurate.

02

Explainable Progress Signals

Show the evidence behind a next step.

SASHA can organize study activity, completion, schedules, and approved progress evidence into understandable signals. Those signals support professional judgment; they are not a diagnosis or a guaranteed prediction that a learner will pass or fail.

03

Voice and Accessibility

Learning without barriers.

Planned voice features are designed to reduce typing barriers for learners who benefit from spoken interaction. The reviewed 446.7 source keeps the voice-session entry point gated. This is not a claim of available contextual voice; any activation requires verified account eligibility, consent, permissions, connectivity, and provider readiness.

04

Stakeholder Coordination

Aligning the adults in the room.

SASHA is designed to organize role-scoped learning information, goals, schedules, and study-completion evidence for authorized people. Shared tutor-note creation and advanced progress-monitoring services are not presented as available in the reviewed release. The platform supports the conversation; it does not replace professional or school authority.

05

Layered Safety Controls

Access, validation, reporting, and review

The current architecture combines authenticated access, relationship and role checks, server-side validation, reporting controls, privacy scrubbing, and reviewable evidence. Model-input screening can add another layer, but no single classifier is presented as an absolute security shield.

04 Platform Architecture

Three Engines. One Platform. Reviewable Coordination.

SASHA is organized around three related capability areas: protected coordination, permission-aware voice and accessibility, and retrieval-guided curriculum context. Availability varies by account, release, review status, and organization configuration.

01

The PTTH Hub

Personalized Tutoring & Habit Architecture

The PTTH Hub is the planned coordination layer for approved goals, curriculum context, study activity, and support across home, school, and tutoring. It is designed to reduce duplicate entry and make alignment evidence easier to review without claiming perfect automation or legal compliance.

02

SASHA Voice & Accessibility

Permission-aware spoken interaction

SASHA Voice is a development direction for learners who benefit from spoken interaction, including permission-aware use of study context. The reviewed 446.7 release source keeps the voice-session entry point gated; contextual voice is not presented here as an available release capability. Any future activation depends on age, guardian or school authority, consent, permissions, and provider readiness.

03

The Curriculum Engine

RAG-Driven Learning Material Pipeline

The planned curriculum pipeline would index authorized rubrics and institutional material to retrieve relevant excerpts for a learner's task. The reviewed 446.7 release source keeps this indexing and retrieval path disabled; this is a development direction, not a claim of currently available curriculum search. The intended approach supplies context rather than retraining a public model on learner documents, with source review still required.

Privacy and education-record posture: SASHA uses role and relationship checks, encrypted transport, restricted credentials, row-level controls, privacy scrubbing, and reviewable evidence. The rules that apply still depend on the user, institution, data, feature, jurisdiction, and contract. The site does not claim that architecture alone establishes FERPA, COPPA, IDEA, state-law, or institutional compliance.

Architecture Insight

Built for the Ecosystem.
Scales to the Individual.

SASHA is designed to connect learners with the teachers, caregivers, and tutors who support them. The same study workspace can also serve a learner when those relationships have not yet been connected.

An independent learner can still use available study, planning, materials, and tutoring tools. Connected roles add context and coordination without making every learner wait for an institution to participate.

With All 4 Stakeholders

Role-aware coordination can bring goals, schedules, progress, and approved context into one shared support loop.

Student Only

Available study, planning, material, and tutoring tools remain useful before a teacher, caregiver, or tutor is connected.

With Teachers Only

Educator tools can organize approved class context and progress signals while family participation remains optional and permission-based.

06 Market Context

A Large Need. A Deliberate Path In.

SASHA begins with the daily coordination problem: learning context is often spread across tasks, documents, calendars, messages, and several people. The opportunity is meaningful, but public data and future business assumptions are kept visibly separate.

Working business model

Projections are a map, not a promise.

The financial and adoption figures that follow are founder management assumptions. They are included for transparent diligence and must be tested through pilots, procurement conversations, pricing research, and operating evidence.

01

Direct learner access

The public Android app is the current distribution proof. Availability, price, and feature eligibility remain release- and account-specific.

02

Family and tutor plans

Subscription and marketplace figures on this site are management assumptions for discussion, not an active public offer or audited revenue.

03

School pilots

Institutional use requires scoped configuration, authority, privacy terms, safeguarding review, support commitments, and measurable success criteria.

04

Responsible expansion

New geographies, age groups, payment flows, or model features should open only after the relevant operational and legal gates are satisfied.

07 Product Position

Useful on Its Own. Designed to Connect Carefully.

SASHA does not need to dismiss the tools learners and schools already use. Its position is the space between them: a calmer daily workflow where permitted context can become an understandable next step.

Study tools

Many products are excellent at lessons, practice, flashcards, or content. SASHA adds a learner-owned place to organize the surrounding week.

School systems

Institutional systems often hold assignments or records. SASHA is designed to work with approved context without presenting itself as the school record of authority.

Communication tools

Messages help people talk. SASHA aims to make the conversation more useful by connecting it to reviewed goals, schedules, materials, and progress evidence.

SASHA’s position

A role-aware coordination workspace that can complement existing tools. Integrations, imports, and shared views remain permission- and release-dependent.

  • Complement the school’s authoritative records; do not silently replace them.
  • Ask for the minimum learner information needed for the selected feature.
  • Make role, relationship, and consent boundaries visible in the experience.
  • Keep model-assisted output reviewable and separate from professional judgment.
